Changes have been made in the schedule of the best-of-seven Nova Scotia
Senior Baseball League championship series between the Truro Bearcats
and Dartmouth Moosehead Dry.
The series is tied at 1-1, with Game 3 scheduled for Beazley Field in
Dartmouth on Tuesday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. The full schedule can be viewed by clicking on the "Schedules" and "Calendar" links on the left-hand side of the page.
The Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League and Baseball Nova Scotia will be
honouring the 2005 Canadian senior baseball champion Nova Scotia
all-stars Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. at Beazley Field. A 19-member team comprised of members of all five senior clubs in the province, captured a second straight gold
medal for Nova Scotia at senior nationals in Kamloops, B.C. on Aug. 28,
defeating Saskatchewan 7-6 in the final.
Members of the NSSBL and BNS executive, as well as members of the
provincial government, are expected to be on hand for the presentation.

J.P. Wood drove in all three runs and Craig Higgins tossed a five-hitter as the Truro Bearcats evened the best-of-seven final with the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry at 1-1.
