Dartmouth takes twinbill
The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry took both ends of a doubleheader from the Sydney Sooners today to complete a three-game series sweep.
In Game 1, Randy Stewart's walk-off home run capped the longest game in the league this season, a 4-3 win in 15 innings.
In Game 2, Chris Goodie homered and Craig MacDonald drove in a pair of runs as the Dry prevailed 11-1.

Halifax grabs share of first
The Halifax Pelham Canadians moved into a first-place tie with a come-from-behind win at home against the Kentville Wildcats tonight. Adam Lucas tied the game in the 8th inning with a two-run home run, and Ryan Veinot belted a two-run walk-off homer in the bottom of the ninth to complete the comeback.

New Brunswick takes four of six games to wrap up interleague weekend
New Brunswick teams posted victories in four of six games today as the first weekend of interleague play came to a close. New Brunswick held a 9-4 advantage over Nova Scotia for the weekend, and takes a 33-28 overall lead since the advent of interleague play in 2006.
Nova Scotia will host New Brunswick for interleague games July 12-13.
