Kentville eliminates Dartmouth; Halifax forces Game 7
The Kentville Wildcats have ensured there will be a new NSSBL champion after ousting the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry 13-9 tonight at Beazley Field in Dartmouth in the seventh and deciding game of their semifinal series.

Canadians cut deficit to 3-2; Kentville forces Game 7
Pat MacInnis tossed a complete-game four-hitter with six strikeouts as the Halifax Pelham Canadians defeated the Truro Bearcats 4-1 tonight at the Mainland Common to cut Truro's lead in the best-of-seven semifinal series to 3-2.
Game 6 is Sunday at 7 p.m., at the TAAC Grounds in Truro.

Dry take series lead against Kentville
The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry scored 10 times in the first two innings en route to a 15-3 victory over the Kentville Wildcats tonight at Beazley Field in Dartmouth.
Dartmouth takes a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven semifinal, with Game 6 on Saturday night at Memorial Park in Kentville.

Updated schedule for Truro-Halifax series
Game 5 of the series is now scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m., at the Mainland Common in Halifax.
Game 6, if necessary, has been scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m., at the TAAC Grounds in Truro.
A date and time for Game 7, if necessary, has yet to be finalized.
The changes have been made on the "Calendar" and "Schedules" sections of the website.
Halifax avoids elimination; Dartmouth evens series with Kentville
Barrett Bellefontaine tossed a complete-game three-hitter as the Halifax Pelham Canadians avoided being swept out of the playoffs by the Truro Bearcats with a 6-3 decision tonight at the TAAC Grounds in Truro. Jay Turple doubled twice for the winners, who now trail 3-1 in the best-of-seven semifinal series and will host Game 5 on Saturday at the Mainland Common at 7 p.m.
