Wildcats Beat Sooners

The Kentville Wildcats defeated the Sydney Sooners 12-6 in Kentville on Friday night, the two teams are in action for a double header starting at 12pm. In other action, the Truro Bearcats will host the Halifax Pelham Canadians at 2pm for a double header.

Wildcats Sweep Sooners

The Wildcats completed a 3 game sweep of the Sydney sooners with an 11-8 win in game 2 of a double header. Kentville trailed 8-7 in the 8th, and scored 4 times all with 2 outs to take the lead. Ian Lockhart knocked in a pair to break an 8-8 tie. He finished with 4 hits in the game. Curtis Falls earned the win in relief. Kentville won the first game Saturday 5-1 behind a terriffic pitching performance from David MacIntyre. MacIntyre scattered six hits over 8 innings, while striking out 5.
