Today's schedule washed out

All games scheduled for today have been postponed because of rain overnight and early this morning. One game has been rescheduled. The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry will host the Halifax Pelham Canadians on Thursday, July 1 at 5 p.m., at Beazley Field. The orginially scheduled game that day between Dartmouth and the Sackville Beaverbank Physio Chiefs will start at 1 p.m., instead of 2 p.m., at Beazley. The Kentville Wildcats interleague doubleheader against the Moncton Mets in Moncton has not been rescheduled as of yet. When make-up dates have been confirmed, they will be posted on this site.

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry won their seventh straight game, beating visiting Halifax Pelham Canadians tonight. At Beazley Field Halifax 000 002 300 — 5 8 3 Dartmouth 012 301 01x — 8 8 6 Sheldon MacDonald (LP), Chris Munroe (5) and Kevin Andrecyk; Jason Bailey (WP), Mike Alexander (8) and Nick Best. Halifax — Gregor McPherson, two-run homer, two-run double, Ryan Veinot, two singles; Dartmouth — Greg West, home run, single, Darren Doucette, single, double, RBI.
