Dartmouth into quarterfinals

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry dropped a 9-5 decision to Windsor, Ont., this afternoon at the Canadian senior baseball championship tournament in Brandon, Man. The loss leaves Dartmouth in second place in its pool with a 2-2 record. The Dry play East York, Ont., in a quarterfinal tonight. Dry eliminated in quarterfinals

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry lost 9-7 to East York, Ont., tonight in quarterfinal play at the Canadian senior baseball championship in Brandon, Man., and will finish in fifth place. Dartmouth 2-1 after two days at nationals

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry lost 9-7 to Red Deer, Alta., then beat the Brandon Marlins 7-4 to sit with a 2-1 record after two days at the Canadian senior championship tournament in Brandon, Man. Dartmouth plays Windsor, Ont., on Saturday afternoon, with the winner assured of first place in their pool and a bye into Sunday's semifinals.
