The Kentville Wildcats and Halifax Pelham Canadians split a doubleheader this afternoon in Halifax. Kentville won the opener 12-2, completing a suspended game from Thursday. Halifax took the finale 7-2.
The Wildcats hold a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven semifinal, with Game 4 on Tuesday in Kentville.

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry scored five times in the sixth inning en route to an 8-6 victory tonight over the Truro Bearcats to take a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven semifinal series. Game 4 is set for Wednesday in Truro.

Steve Nelson threw a complete-game four-hitter and struck out nine as the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry took a 2-0 series lead against the Truro Bearcats with a 9-2 victory tonight.

Dartmouth wins opener; Halifax, Kentville on hold
The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry got a complete-game six-hitter from pitcher Jason Bailey, who struck out 10 in a 5-2 victory over the Truro Bearcats tonight in Game 1 of their semifinal series.
Game 1 between the Halifax Pelham Canadians and Kentville Wildcats was suspended because of fog with Kentville leading 6-0 with one out in the top of the fifth inning. The game will be completed prior to Game 3 in Halifax on Sunday afternoon. Game 2 will go ahead as planned Saturday at 2 p.m. in Kentville.
