Tonight's game between the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry and Halifax Pelham Canadians at the Mainland Common in Halifax has been postponed because of rain.

The game has been rescheduled to Sunday, Aug. 17 at noon.

NOTE: The start time of the Kentville-Halifax game at the Mainland Common on Sunday, Aug. 17 has been pushed back to 3 p.m.

Tonight's rescheduled game between the Truro Bearcats and Halifax Pelham Canadians at the Mainland Common in Halifax has been postponed because of rain.

The rained-out game Aug. 5 between the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry and the Truro Bearcats at the TAAC Grounds in Truro has been rescheduled to Saturday, Aug. 16 at 7:30 p.m. The change has been made on the "Calendar" and "Schedules" sections of the website.

Truro salvages weekend finale

The Truro Bearcats rebounded from a pair of losses Saturday to edge host Sydney Sooners 5-4 in 10 innings this afternoon in the finale of their three-game weekend series at Susan McEachern Memorial Field.

Truro improves to 12-14, and pads its lead over the Kentville Wildcats to 1.5 games in the chase for third place. Truro has three games remaining on its schedule to Kentville's two, including one head-to-head matchup.

The Sooners finish their season with a 7-22 record, and will miss the playoffs.
