Rain has forced the cancellation of both openers in the best-of-seven semifinals scheduled for this evening.

Both series have been rescheduled to start Thursday, Sept. 4, with Kentville at Dartmouth and Truro at Halifax. Revised schedules for both series can be viewed by clicking on the "Schedules" and "Calendar" links on the left-hand side of the page.

Today's scheduled Game 1 of the Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League semifinal series between the Truro Bearcats and the Halifax Pelham Canadians at the Mainland Common in Halifax has been postponed because of rain.

The game has been rescheduled to Monday, Sept. 1 at 6 p.m. at the Mainland Common, with Game 2 of the series now scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the TAAC Grounds in Truro. The remainder of the series schedule is unchanged.

Tonight's Game 1 between the Halifax Pelham Canadians and the Truro Bearcats at the Mainland Common has been postponed because of rain.

The series is now slated to open Sunday, Aug. 31 at 4 p.m. at the Mainland Common.
