Irvine walk-off wins it for Dartmouth

Joel Irvine's two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning capped a four-run rally as the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry defeated the Kentville Wildcats 6-4 tonight at Beazley Field.

Canadians stage historic comeback

The Halifax Pelham Canadians staged one of the greatest comebacks in league history tonight.

After giving up 13 runs in the first three innings, including a 10-run second, Halifax blanked the host Kentville Wildcats the rest of the way and rallied for a 14-13 triumph at Memorial Park.

Bearcats best Dry in home opener

The Truro Bearcats downed the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry 8-3 tonight in the Bearcats first game at the TAAC Grounds this season. Craig Higgins picked up the win on the mound, and Steve Nelson took the loss.

Today's scheduled doubleheader between the Halifax Pelham Canadians and the Sydney Sooners at Susan McEachern Memorial Field in Sydney was postponed because of rain.

With rain forecast in the area through the remainder of the weekend, the teams have agreed to reschedule the doubleheader to June 27 at 1 p.m.

Canadians spoil Sooners' home-opener

The Halifax Pelham Canadians scored four runs with two out in the sixth inning en route to a 7-2 victory over host Sydney Sooners in the Sooners' first home game of the season at Susan McEachern Memorial FIeld.
