The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry completed a four-game sweep of the Halifax Pelham Canadians in the best-of-seven league championship series with a 4-3 victory tonight at the Mainland Common in Halifax, earning the franchise's 15th NSSBL championship since 1990.

Dartmouth's Chris Head and Joel Irvine were named co-playoff MVPs. The Dry will represent the league at the 2010 Canadian senior baseball championship in Windsor, Ont.

Dartmouth one win from title

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry are up 3-0 in the best-of-seven league championship series following a 6-3 victory tonight over the Halifax Pelham Canadians at Beazley Field in Dartmouth.

Game 4 goes Thursday at the Mainland Common at 7:30 p.m.
