The Kentville Wildcats’ Shayne Conrad has been named this week’s Cleve’s Source for Sports Player of the Week in the Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League. The Wildcats right-hander picked up two mound wins in helping the Wildcats to a 3-3 week picking up victories over the Truro Bearcats and the Halifax Pelham Molson Canadians. Over a total of 13 and 2/3 innings, Conrad scattered 12 hits, struck out 10 batters, walked just 4, and gave up just 2 earned runs for a sparkling 1.36 ERA.

 

Other players considered were Darson Murphy of the Bearcats, Mark Pelham of the Canadians, Mike Lockhart and Codey Shrider of the Wildcats.
