The Kentville Wildcats advanced to the 2012 NSSBL finals with a 3 games to 1 series win over Sydney.
In game 3, Sydney won by a score of 4-3 in 10 innings. Kenny Long singled in the top of the 10th to give Sydney the lead. Guy Pellerine homered and doubled for the Sooners.
In game 4, Kevin Nichols threw a 3 hit shutout as Kentville won 5-0. Sydney didn't a base runner past second base. Trevor Wamback had 3 hits and drove in 2 runs.

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry jumped out to an early 4-0 lead against lefthander Brandon Mackinnon who walked 4 and allowed a Darren Doucette homer before being relieved by Barrett Bellefontaine.
Halifax fought back and turned 6 walks in the 9th inning into 4 runs but left the tying runs on base at game's end. Game 3 is Sunday night at Beazley Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00. In action today, the Sydney Sooners try to avoid elimination in Kentville, the Wildcats hold a 2-0 series lead. Game 3 will start at 3pm, if necessary game 4 will be at 7pm.

Colin Johnson hit a grand slam in the 5th inning to open up a 6-0 lead. The Dry cruised to a 7-2 victory as Jeff Reeves and Shain Beaudreau combined for a 4 hitter. Game 2 of the NSSBL best of 5 semi-finals goes tomorrow night at Mainland Common, game time is 7:30.
