Bearcats within one win of final

The Truro Bearcats took a 3-2 lead in their best-of-seven series with the Kentville Wildcats tonight with a 9-3 victory.
Kentville hosts Game 6 on Saturday. The home team has won every game so far in this series.

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry wrapped up their semifinal series with the Halifax Pelham Canadians tonight, posting a 9-1 victory to take the best-of-seven series in five games. Dartmouth lost the opener 5-2, but outscored Halifax 39-11 over the next four games.

The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry moved within one win of the final tonight, beating Halifax Pelham Canadians 9-3 to take a 3-1 series lead, while the Kentville Wildcats evened their series with the Truro Bearcats at 2-2, winning a 2-1 nailbiter.

Home teams continued to rule the day in the Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League postseason, with the Dartmouth Moosehead Dry and Truro Bearcats posting victories tonight to take 2-1 leads in their best-of-seven series.
Six games have been played so far in the playoffs, and the road team has yet to win.
