The Dartmouth Moosehead Dry rallied from an 8-5 deficit in the eighth inning to defeat the Kentville Wildcats 11-8 tonight and claim their 13th Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League championship since 1990.
Dartmouth won the best-of-seven final in four straight games. Dry player-coach Darren Doucette was named playoff MVP.

Tonight's Game 2 of the league championship series between the Kentville Wildcats and Dartmouth Moosehead Dry has been postponed because of rain. The game has been rescheduled to Monday, Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Memorial Park in Kentville.
