News and Announcements

Here is J.R. Nocerino and several youngsters from the Forest Hills Girls Softball League pitching in and doing their part in grooming the fields for play. Unfortunately, several inches of rain has soaked all of the fields during the end of May and beginning of June creating schedule conflicts and field assignment nightmares. The FHLL would like to thank the many players, coaches and parents for volunteering their efforts grooming the Fleet Street fields for play.image
Please don't forget to deposit all Forest Hills Youth Activities Association Fund Raising Raffle slips at the Fleet Street Fields snack shack on or before Memorial Day (Monday, May 30th). Please make sure ALL slips are completed in full (name, address and phone number), incomplete slips are not valid and ineligible to win.image
For the first time in 50 years, the Forest Hills Little League will have two female players on the same baseball team. Twelve year-old Valerie and ten year-old Tessa play for Marty Spolan Sporting Goods in the Major League. Although their team's record is not great, they have made some great plays with some fine hitting this season. Come down to the fields and cheer on these two young outstanding athletes while they play ball with the guys in the big league. Click here to view pictures from our album.
