New York Gothams

Starting this Thursday, all Thursday games at Taft will start at 5:00 instead of 5:45.

The Blue team plays at Monroe today. Take the Cross Bronx to Exit 4B. At exit, take a right on Metcalf. Go one block to E174th St. Take a right, go 7-8 blocks to Bronx River Ave. Take a left and go one block to E173rd St. Take a left on E173rd, then a qick right on Boynton Ave. School is on Boynton.

The game with the Caribe Cubs was postponed for the Red team, while the Blues need to reschedule two with Parkchester. We'll post the new dates here when they are available.

In addition to adding the Junior Olympics, we have rescheduled the Condors rainout for 7/5 at Taft and 7/17 at Clemente. We have also added THIS SUNDAY at 12 noon against the DePhillips Saints at Taft (one game), 6/29 against Parkchester at Central Park #4 and 7/19 against the Mets at Taft.

The North Shore Royals aren't able to play the best of three Metro AAU series on Sunday, so the Gothams Blues have been declared Champs. The win qualifies us to play in the Junior Olympics in Hampton, Virginia. The tournament is from July 26 - August 4. Over 14,000 athletes from all over the world will attend.
