Blue Team Games with Eastchester Postponed

The Eastchester Eagles are in a tournament and have postponed our Sunday doubleheader. The Blue team will PRACTICE instead at 3pm at Taft. The Red team has a big doubleheader with the Giants at Taft starting at 10am, which could determine the WBA tournament bids. Everyone should try to make it to support the team.

Blue Team Selected for Metro Tournament

Our 15-16's achieved one of our preseason goals by being selected to represent the Bronx Federation in the Metropolitan Baseball Federation Tournament. Our first two games will be next Thursday starting at noon in Westchester. More details later. CONGRATULATIONS GOTHAMS!

Directions to Lehman HS

Lehman is at 3000 East Tremont Ave in the Bronx. The #6 train stops a block away at Westchester Square. Also, the BX 4, 9, 40 and 42 buses stop at Westchester Square and East Tremont. Driving, you can either take the Cross Bronx to Exit 5B - Castle Hill Rd, take a left on Castle Hill and a right on Westchester Ave up to Westchester Square and East Tremont (continue right at the square) or take the Bruckner to the Hutchinson and take the Westchester Ave exit.
We will make up one of the Bronx Federation games with the Condors this Friday at 5:00 at Taft HS.

GOTHAMS WIN CHAMPIONSHIP!

The New York Gothams Red Team won the prestigous Independence Day Baseball Classic at Disney World for 13-14's by defeating the Stamford 15U team 4-2 in Orlando, Florida. Congratulations to Manager Francisco Perez and Coach Rich Kahn. Many thanks and congratulations to Larry Momo, who organized and supervised the entire trip. This Championship in a national tournament makes us all proud to be Gothams.
