13's Schedule Update

Posted by Lois Sakany at Jun 26, 2003 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
We are meeting for tonight's game at 4:30 at 95th St. Saturday's doubleheader has been changed to a single game at 10:00 at Taft. Players should be at Taft at 9:15. Wednesday's game at Larchmont/Mamaroneck has been postponed (they had enough of us last week, apparently). Instead, we will have practices on Monday (7/1) and Wednesday (7/2) and a scrimmage on Field 5 in Central Park at 5:30 on Thursday (7/3). We will post the location of the practices before Monday. Also, please note that we have added a game against Pelham on July 18 in Central Park - Field #5 at 5:30.

Triple Sweep in New Jersey

Posted by Lois Sakany at Jun 15, 2003 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )
Although the official tournament was cancelled, our 18U, 16U and 13 year old teams made the most of the weekend yesterday by sweeping their doubleheaders. The 13's beat the Garden State Yankees 5-4 and 8-6, while our Seniors beat the Roselle Rangers 2-0 and 5-3. The 16's dominated in winning two lopsided games. Now let's hope for continued good weather!
