LadyHawks Mourn Passing of Coach Danny Greenberg and Memorial Service Information
The LadyHawks organization was saddened by the passing of Coach Danny Greenberg on Saturday April 5th. Danny, an assistant coach with the Miller Gold team, had worked with the LadyHawks program for many years. Our thoughts and prayers go to his family and friends.
Danny started coaching in 2004 with the LadyHawks as an assistant coach. His niece, Erin Fisher, was a player for us and Wayne and Danny hit it off right away. The year after Erin starting playing for us he asked Wayne to be a coach and help. (Danny was coaching little league baseball.)
He was larger then life and he touched so many girls in his ten years with our team. There will never be anyone to fill his shoes or the void we feel in our hearts with him gone. He will forever be missed.
His Celebration of Life will be April 19th at 1:00 at the Mitchell's house, 21005 SE 132nd St., Issaquah, WA 98027. We encourage all the past and present players to attend. In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to the Washington LadyHawks in hopes to help more kids just as Danny did!
