This was a good team we played. They hit well and stopped some of our hard hits. After 3 innings we were winning 16-14. Then we played defense making several good plays, which included the 4th inning where we got 3 outs(no strikeouts) and gave up one run. Once again our bats came through. We won 24-16 pounding out 33 hits. Everyone got one hit. Girls with 3 hits were: Ashlee, Toni, Emy(5 RBI), Holly, Haley L., and Taryn. Nikki hit the only homerun. Good defensive plays went to Taryn, Jessica, Maggie, Emy, and Haley W. A very good game girls. Coach Dale.
Good start, slow finish. We won 18-6 but after 3 innings we were up 14-3. We made good contact, getting 24 hits but only 5 extra base hits. We did get another grandslam, this one went to Jessica. We also had a three run homerun by Nikki. Some good catches in the field went to Emy H. and Haley L. Good game girls. Coach Dale.
There are two tournaments that we can get into if enough girls want to play. The dates are June 7th - 9th and then there is one July 12th-14th. I will be handing out a paper and need to know which girls can play on these weekends. Coach Dale
We are going to plan on having team pictures taken on Monday June 3rd before our 8:45pm game. Be there at 7:45pm in the grassy area going up to the big fields. If any one has a problem with this date please let me know. Coach Dale.
