Returning from a stellar season from a year ago which included an individual Kent County title, Bliss has certainly not “rested on her laurels.” She entered the preseason in the best shape of her three-year career and has instantly reaped the benefits, surging to the front by already busting 21:00.

Committed from day one, Blunt came ready to build on a solid rookie season in 2009. He made nearly all preseason practices and steadily knocked out each workout. His hard work definitely paid off when it came to preseason trials as he capped summer practices by nailing his goal time.

CR grad Marshall Hawkins (17:11) and Sussex Tech freshman Bethany Killman (22:40) won the top individual male and female honors Saturday, Nov. 28 at the 11th annual MHSCC Boosters Reindeer Stampede 5K run/walk and 1-mile walk at Milford Millponds Nature Preserve.

Over 200 folks participated in the event. We appreciate all your support!
