News and Announcements

Groce has followed up on an awesome rookie season with a similarly strong sophomore campaign. She raced to an All-Kent County finish Monday before earning a first-team All-Henlopen run of 20:17 (a Killens best for her) on Saturday, helping the girls team titles in each race.

Johnson, in his rookie season with the cross country team, has made a smooth transition from sprints on the track. After making an immediate varsity impact this season, he scored a huge 2nd team all-Henlopen performance, running a career-best 18:03 as the team’s No. 5 man on Saturday.

In her final season, Medlarz has proven to make her final few meets count as she has steadily dropped her times of late. In a key defeat of Cape Henlopen Wednesday, Medlarz nearly reached 24s for the first time by running a career-best 25:10.

Hoey has put together a strong rookie season with a quiet work ethic that has gotten her closer and closer to the varsity seven. On a rainy, stormy Wednesday last week, she busted out a career-best 25:04. She appears poised for future success.

Morgan has been a key member of one of the deepest freshmen groups to join MHSCC in recent years. He has run in the 19s in consecutive races and has an excellent chance to move onto the Bloom Top 10 freshman list as postseason approaches.
