Minutemen Youth Wrestling

In their first match of the day the Berlin Minutemen dropped a close match to host New Milford 20-16. Winning three matches for Berlin was Mason Powers(2 pins). Two matches were won by Jacob Eliades and Ryan Bisson (2 pins). Bringing home one win each were: Drew Mals, Jeremy Eliades, Brendan Butler, Ryan Butler, Kevin Moss, Ryan Vujs, Chris Solek and Jonathan Fiorillo.

Many of the experienced Minutemen were given the day off as the younger wrestler's traveled to Avon for a match. Even though Berlin dropped a 22-9 score the experience was well worth it. Winning for Berlin were: Anthony Zovich 2 pins, Nathan Giaccone 9-3, Todd Koops 7-0, Anthony Scacca Pin, Kevin Moss 3 wins and Sheri Sylvia pin. Wrestling tough were Sean Sullivan, Danny Hackett, Ryan Bisson, Sam Vreeland, Richie Schlichting, Drew Mals and Andrew Zovich.

In their closest match of the year the Minutemen squeaked by Bogota, NJ 13-12. Winning for the Minutemen with three wins was Cameron Banks 3 Pins and with two wins Drew Mals. Bringing home one win each were: Devon Reilly, Kyle Zuk, Ryan Bisson, Kevin Moss, Ryan Vujs, Mason Powers, Chris Solek and Jonathan Fiorillo. In the final match of the day the Berlin Minutemen topped John Jay 26-11. It was a great team effort as the following Minutemen showed well.
