Minutemen Youth Wrestling

All first and second year wrestlers interested in going should see coach Moss.

Register by Thursday. 

The day was only going to be an afternoon affair as there were no younger wrestlers registered for this tournament.  But the two that did make it did well Seth Pelletier continued to dominate on the mat winning both his matches by pin on his way to first place and Serge Duquette pinned two on his way to a second place finish.

 Best of all we got home by 3:30 pm!

On Sunday, January 20th three of the young Minutemen traveled to Oxford High School for a beginners Tournament.  Each had three matches with the following results:

Bantam - Zachary Skinner took 1st place with two pins and a technical fall.

Intermediates - Rory Mayer took 2nd place with two pins and a close lose and Jacob Wagner took 3rd with a tough third match loss.

 

"It was a good day on whole and the wrestlers showed improvement", said Coach Moss. 

This is usually a good quick tournament so you are home in time for the Super Bowl. Let Coach Moss if you are intersted in attending this tournament.
