The Lady Bears Lost to Columbus East Thursdahy Night At the Orange Pit. It was 18-1 after one, the bears were outscored 10-9 in the second period to trail at halftime 28-10, The came outof the locker room and went on a scoring tear outscoring east 16-6 to cut the lead to 8 34-26, but that would be as close as they would get east outscored the bears 14-9 to win 48-35. The bears was led in scoring by: Chelsey Skipton 10, Chelsea Weaver 9, Catlin Mills 7, Jenna Hebbe 3, Chelsee Simerly & Eryn Hopper 2 apiece, Ashley Bush & Jordan Wise 1 apiece. Columbus East was led in scoring by: Alicia Hopkins 13, Sidney Orso 7, Erika Lomax, Sara Bean, & KreighaHenney 6 apiece, Courtney Ogle 4, Kate Christman, Courtney Forman, &Jasmine Santos 2 apiece. The lady bears are back in action Saturday Night When they travel to take on another HHC opponent New Palestine JV tip is at 6 PM & Varsity tip is at 7:30 PM.
The Lady Golden Bears are still looking for that first win of the season after losing to Batesville 68-43 Saturday afternoon at Batesville. The bears was led in scoring by: Chelsey Skipton 11, Caitlin Mills 9, Chelsea Weaver, & Eryn Hopper 7 apiece, Natasha Palmer 5, Chelsee Simerly 3, & Jordan Wise 1. Batesville was led in scoring by: Lawson Sitterding 15.The bears are off until Thursday when they travel to take on Columbus East JV tip is at 6 PM. & Varsity tip is at 7:30 PM.

The Lady Bears fall to (0-5 overall & 0-2 in HHC play) after losing to Yorktown 51-35 Thursday night at Garrett Gymnausium. The bears was led in scoring by: Chelsey Skipton 9, Jordan Wise 6, Caitlin Mills, & Chelsea Weaver 5 apiece, Ashley Bush, & Eryn Hopper 4 apiece, & Natasha Palmer 2. Yorktown was led in scoring by: Jill Hopper 23. The bears is in action again Saturday afternoon when they travel to take on Batesville JV tip is at 12 noon & varsity tip is at 1:30 PM.

GREENFIELD — For a minute and a half, it appeared as if Shelbyville would surprise Greenfield-Central as Natasha Palmer drilled a basket to put the visiting Lady Golden Bears ahead 4-3.
