Conner leads Golden Bears over Mohawks

Allyson Conner connected on three 3-pointers and scored a career-high 20 points to lead visiting Shelbyville over Waldron, 61-39.
The Golden Bears (2-8) led 18-8 after one quarter Saturday, but the Mohawks (2-9) rallied to cut the lead to 25-19 by halftime. Shelbyville’s lead was seven after three quarters before the Golden Bears scored 23 points over the final eight minutes.
Riley Achenbach also hit three 3s and finish with 10 points.
Caitlin Hedman and Heather Schuneman each had 10 points to lead Waldron.
The Mohawks won the junior varsity game, 33-23.
Bethany Workman had 12 points to lead Waldron.
Abey Bass scored 10 to lead Shelbyville.

The Lady Golden Bears Move Thier Record To (1-8 Overall & 1-2In HHC Play) After Losing To Greenfield-Central 63-41 Tuesday Night. The Bears Was Led In Scoring By: Taylor Pierce 14, Riley Achenbach, & Jacqueline Lux 10 Apiece,Megan Fix 3, Bree Elrod 2, &Kiersten Macklin 1. Greenfield-Central Was Led In Scoring By: Sara Jones 12, Regan Lewis 11, &Shelby Davis10. The JV Lost Thier Game 38-17 To Move Thier Record To (2-7). The Bears Will Be Back In Action Saturday When They Travel To Take On Waldron JV Tipoff Is At 11:30 AM. & Varsity Tipoff Is At 1 PM.
