Indiana High School Basketball – Shelbyville can’t hold off Guerin Catholic
January 7, 2020: Noblesville, IN 46062
The Shelbyville Golden Bears basketball squad (Shelbyville, IN), was edged 45-42 in Tuesday’s non-league bout with the host Guerin Catholic Golden Eagles (Noblesville, IN)

With the win, Guerin Catholic upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Indianapolis Bishop Chatard (Indianapolis, IN) to clash with the Trojans in a Circle City bout on Friday, January 10. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Indianapolis Bishop Chatard lost 52-42 in their recent non-league bout against Westfield (Westfield, IN)

Next up, the Golden Bears clash with the Yorktown Tigers (Yorktown, IN) in a Hoosier Heritage bout, on Saturday, January 11. Shelbyville will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-6 record after their 66-54 non-league loss to University (Carmel, IN).

The Lady Bears Move Their Record To (3-14 Overall & 1-4 In HHC Play) After Losing To Now (10-6 Overall & 3-2 In HHC Play) Yorktown 70-58. The Lady Bears Was Led In Scoring By: Jaidyn Tackett 17, Kylee Edwards 15, Madison Bassett 9, Megan Eads 8, Holly Hickman 4, Madison Phares, & Makayla Terrell 2 Apiece, & Abby Benner 1. Yorktown Was Led In Scoring By: Carley Culberson 19, & Amari Wright 10. The JV Lost Their Game 31-13. The Bears Will Be Back In Action Tuesday Night When They Will Host Rushville JV Tip Is At 6 PM. & Varsity Tip Is At 7:30 PM.

Indiana High School Basketball – Waldron topples Shelbyville
January 4, 2020: Shelbyville, IN 46176
In Saturday’s non-league outing, the Waldron Mohawks (Waldron, IN) basketball squad beat the host Shelbyville Golden Bears (Shelbyville, IN), by a count of 65-51.

The Mohawks (9-8) will now prepare for their outing against Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 16-0 record. In their last outing, Triton Central defeated Indianapolis Scecina Memorial (Indianapolis, IN), 104-40, in a league outing.

The Golden Bears now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Guerin Catholic for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 7. Shelbyville will clash with a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 46-42 non-league loss to Lapel (Lapel, IN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-9.

The Hamilton Heights Huskies basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Shelbyville Golden Bears to 41 in the Huskies non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Huskies now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelbyville for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 28. Hamilton Heights will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 69-36 non-league loss to East Central (St. Leon, IN). The Golden Bears record now stands at 3-10.

The Golden Bears (3-11) will now prepare for their contest against Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN). The Huskies enter the non-league contest with a 6-8 record.

The Trojans now possess a 11-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Seymour for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 28.

The Golden Bears (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Hamilton Heights (Arcadia, IN). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 6-8 record.
