The Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears Move Their Record To (0-2) After Losing To Bloomington North 62-52 Saturday Night The Bears Was Led In Scoring By: Kylee Edwards 20, Megan Eads 11, Ava Wilson 7, JaidynTackett, & MadisonPhares 5 Apiece, Madison Bassett 3, & Abby Brenner 1. Bloomington North Was Led In Scoring By: Ava Reitmeyer 23. The JV Lost 23-19 Their Record is also (0-2) The Lady Bears Will Be Back In Action Next Tuesday Night When They Will Host Greensburg JV Tip Is At 6 P.M. & Varsity Tip Is At 7:30 P.M.

The Girls Basketball Team was defeated by Bloomington North on Saturday Night. Leading the way for the Golden Bears again was Kaylee Edwards with 20 points. Senior backcourt mate Megan Eads scored 11 points knocking down 3 3’s and 2 free throws. Junior Jaidyn Tackett and Freshman Ava Wilson both had 7 points apiece. The Golden Bears outscored Bloomington North 50-46 after a very slow start. The JV was defeated in a very close contest as well. Both teams played extremely hard and will continue to improve throughout the season. Both teams will host Greensburg on Tuesday with basketball starting at 6 pm.

The Girls Basketball Team was defeated by Waldron on Tuesday night 58-52. Leading the way for the Golden Bears was Kaylee Edwards with 20 points. Madison Phares chipped in 14 and Megan Eads had 6 points. Shelbyville is 0-1 on the year. The JV Team was defeated by Waldron and is 0-1 on the year

The Shelbyville Girls’ Basketball program will be accepting canned foods at the scrimmage on Saturday. Please bring 3 canned food items to be admitted for FREE. The scrimmage is set to start at 11 am.
