The Lady Golden Bears fall to 5-2 after losing 42-36 to Mooresville Saturday afternoon. The Bears led 10-9 after one, 18-17 at halftime, the Bears were outscored 14-6 in the third to trail 31-24 after three. The Bears outscored Moorsville 12-9 in the fourth to lose 42-36. The bears were led in scoring by Ashley Ayers and Lauren Murphy 7 apiece, Dana Gardner and LeAnn Douglas 6 apiece, Julie Snuffer and Melanie Clark 4 apiece,and Lauren Rees 2. Mooresville was led in scoring by Lauren Kenney 16, and Caitlin Dougherty 11. The Bears next game is Thursday night against Columbus East JV tip 6 PM and Varsity 7:30 PM.

The Lady Golden Bears improve their record to 5-1 overall 2-1 in the HHC with a 50-34 win over Greenfield Central Tuesday night. Shelbyville was led in scoring by Dana Gardner and Ashley Ayers with 12 apiece. Greenfield was led by Morgan Anderson and Audrey Smoot with 9 apiece. The Lady Bears next opponent will be Mooresville Saturday night JV tip 1 PM. and Varsity at 2:30 PM.
