Lady Bears win a thiller

The Lady Golden Bears Remain Pefect in Hoosier Heritage Conference play after defeating Greenfield-Central 50-47 Tuesday at Garrett Gymnasium. The Bears were led in scoring by Ashley Ayers 15, LeAnn Douglas 14, Dana Gardner 10, Julie Snuffer 6, and Kelli Haehl 5. Greenfield-Central was led in scoring by Jordan Lewis 22. Shelbyville will be back in action Saturdy December 2nd. JV tip is 1pm and Varsity tip is 2:30pm.

Shelbyville remains perfect in the HHC

The Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears won over Pendleton Heights 34-33 Friday Night. They move their record to(3-1 overall and a perfect 2-0 in HHC play). The Bears led after one 7-6, 19-12 at halftime, 27-19 after three after hiting a three pointer to start the fourth they led 30-19 then Pendleton Heights started the comeback they took the lead with 5.8 seconds left 33-32 after the bears inbounds Kelli Haehl was fouled and took a nasty fall with 3.0 seconds left Laura John replaced Haehl for two free throws she hit both to seal the victory for the bears. The bears was led in scoring by Ashley Ayers11, LeAnn Douglas8, Julie Snuffer7, Kelli Haehl5, Laura John2, and Dana Gardner1.Pendleton Heights was led in scoring by Taylor Miller15. The bears will be in action next against Greenfield-Central Tuesday night at Garrett Gymnasium JV tip is 6pm & Varsity tip is 7:30pm.

Ayers' career high not enough in Columbus

COLUMBUS-- If the Golden Bears shot free throws as well as Ashley Ayers shot 3-pointers Saturday, they could claim to be an early sectional favorite.
The Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears lost a tough one at Columbus Saturday 45-42 shelbyville led 15-7 after one they pushed it to 18-7 early in the second before they got outscored 15-9 to lead 24-22 at halftime they lost the third period 13-12 toled by only one 36-35 after three the bears free throw went south only hitting 3-11 for the game Cloumbus won the fourth period 10-6 to post a 45-42 victory. Shelbyville will be in action next Friday November 24th at Pendelton Heights JV tip 6pm & varsity tip 7:30pm
