Olympians roll past SHS

Relatively quiet through three-and-half quarters, Shelby Ross came through when it mattered most.
The Shelbyville Lady Bears Played Columbus East without Head coach Harry Larrabee who suffered a light stroke My thoughts and prayers go out to Harry and his family at this time. The Lady Bears lost the constest 46-44. The bears were led in scoring by LeAnn Douglas 10, Ashley Ayers and Dana Gardner 9 apiece, Kelli Haehl 8, Julie Snuffer and Laura John 3 apiece, and Melanie Clark 2. Columbus East was led in scoring by Shelby Ross 17. The bears will be back in action Saturday December 9th when they take on HHC foe New Palestine JV tip is 6p.m. and Varsity tip is 7:30p.m.

Shelbyville prevails over Mooresville

Shelbyville Lady Golden Bears move their record to 5-1 after defeating Mooresville Saturday afternoon. The bears led 7-4 after one, they were outscored 18-12 in the second to trail 22-19 at halftime, the bears outscored Mooresville 18-7 in the third to lead 37-29, the bears were outscored 15-13 in the fourth to win 50-44. The bears were led in scoring by Ashley Ayers 17, LeAnn Douglas 13, Dana Gardner 9, Julie Snuffer 7, and Kelli Haehl 4. Mooresville was led in scoring by Maegan Callaway 19. Shelbyville next opponent is Columbus East Thursday december 7th JV tip is 6pm. & Varsity tip is 7:30pm. Leann Douglas was named WKWH player of the game.
