RUSHVILLE-- Dana Gardner scored 17 points, including eight in that pivotal third quarter, to lead Shelbyville to a 49-37 win over Rushville.
The lady Golden Bears are 5-0 in the HHC & in first place by there selves after defeating Rushville Saturday 47-39 The bears was led in scoring by: Dana Gardner 17, LeAnn Douglas 12,Kelli Haehl 10, and Julie Snuffer 8 The Lions was led in scoring by: Kaycee Sullivan 11. The bears next game is Tuesday January 2nd against Bloomington North special tipoff time JV at3pm. and varsity 4:30pm.
With the biggest game of the regular season approaching, the Shelbyville girls' basketball team needed momentum. And after beating Roncalli 59-48 Friday in the Shelby Shootout for their third straight victory, its clear the Golden Bears are playing their best basketball of the season.

The Lady Bears moved their record to (10-3) beating Roncalli 59-48 in the second round of the Shelby Shootout Friday Night. The Bears was led in scoring by: Ashley Ayers 15, Julie Snuffer 13, Leann Douglas and Dana Gardner 10 apiece,Chelsea Weaver 5, Kelli Haehl 4, and Chelesa Parks 2. Roncalli was led in scoring by: Mallory Opel 14. Shelbyville travels to Rushville to take on the Lions The winner will sole possesion of 1st place in Hoosier Heritage Conference tipoff is 6pm.
