The Lady Golden Bears suffered their third straight loss to Pendleton Heights Saturday afternoon at Garrett Gymnausium 59-39 It is the lady bears longest losing streak since 2004. It was 23-3 after one, 33-12, at halftime, 42-25 after three, the bears were outscored in the 4th 17-14 to make the final 59-39. the bears were led in scoring by Melanie Clark 13, Clelsea Weaver & Keli Haehl 7 apiece, Bailee Runnebohm & Kate Kolls 4 apiece, Kylie Zamudio & Kaitian Hudson 1 apiece. Pendleton Heights was led in scoring by Mur Hagerman 14. The JV team won 18-16 to run it's record to 3-1. The next game for the lady bears is tuesday at Greenfield Central another conference game JV tipoff is 6 PM. & Varsity tipoff is 7:30 PM.

Bears fall into Columbus North's trap

Baffled by a zone trap defense, the Shelbyville girls' basketball team stuggled to one of the lowest scoring games in program history against Columbus North Saturday.
The lady bears fall to Columbus North 55-25 saturday night at Garrett Gymnausium. The bears were led in scoring by Kelli Haehl 8, Chelsea Weaver 6, Bailee Runnebohm 4,Kaitian Hudson, Melanie Clark, & Kylee Zamudio 2 apiece. Columbus North was led in scoring by Sydney Mitchell 15.The lady bears fall to 1-2 overall & 1-0 in the HHC The JV lost their game they are now 2-1. T lady bears have a week to get ready for their next game against Pendleton Heights next saturday JV tipoff is Noon & Varsity tipoff is 1:30
GREENSBURG--- Shelbyville might not be headed toward a 15- win season. But the girls' basketball team isn't going down without a fight, either.

Lady Golden Bears lose to Greensburg

The Lady Golden Bears were defeated by Greensburg tuesday night 64-50. the bears were down 10-0 before they scored their first bucket. The bears trailed 17-5 after one, the bears outscored greensburg 14-9 in the second quarter to cut the lead to seven at halftime 26-19, greensburgincreased the lead toseventeen after three 45-28, the bears made a run in the final quarter but was'nt enough though. The Bears was led in scoring by Melanie Clark 11, Kate Kolls 10, Keli Haehl 9, Chelesa Weaver 8, Bailee Runebohm 6, Kaitlan Hudson 5, & Kylee Zamudio 1. Greensburg was led in scoring by Chas Lecher 20. The lady bears are (1-1overall 7 1-0 in the HHC). The Jv team won 31-28 they are now (2-0). The lady bears next game is saturday nov.17th againt Columbus North at Garrett Gymnausium. JV tip is 6 PM. & Varsity tip is 7:30 PM.
