Lady Bears get defeated by Roncalli

The lady bears suffered two things in the consolation game Friday night first they lost thier star center Kelli Haehl who quit the team just hours before the tipoff of thier game with Roncalli in which  Roncalli won 69-40. The lady bears was led in scoring by Chelsea Weaver 12, Bailee Runnebohm, & Eryn Hopper 7 Apiece, Melanie Clark, & Lesley Sammons 6 Apiece, & Kate Kolls 2. Roncalli was led by Courtney Pederson 21. The Lady Bears are off until January 8th 2008. When Warren Central comes to Garrett Gymnasium & The Frank Barnes Court JV start is 6 PM. Varsity start is 7:30 PM.
The lady bears lost to the lady lions 61-40 Thursday Night in the opening game of the Shelby Shootout the bears record is now at(3-8 overall &1-4 in the HHC) The bears was led in scoring by Chelsea Weaver 8, Melanie Clark, Caitlan Mills, & Kaitlan Hudson 6 apiece, Kelli Haehl, & Bailee Runnebohm 4 apiece, Sarah Carlson 2, Eryn Hopper, & Ashley Martin 1 apiece. Rushville was led in scoring by Alexa Bess 14. The stage is set for tomorrow night it will be The Lady Bears vs The Lady Rebels for the consolation game at 6 PM. The Lady Lions vs The Lady Eagles for the the championship game of the 2007 Girls Shelby Shootout at 8 PM.

Shelbyville coach Stacie Cepin proved Saturday that she'll go as deep into her bench as necessary to find away to jump-start the team's offense.

Shelby sinks Shelby

Trailing 23-12 at halftime against Shelbyville Tuesday, the Southwestern girls' basketball team made an adjustment.

 The Spartans didn't play the third quarter with a different defense or new scoring plays, however. They just had a different attitude.
