Triton Central coach Larry Pringle tries to maintain a healthy diet and exercise several times a week. his good health has been tested recently as his girls' basketball team has went down to the wire for victories its last four games, including a 55-46 win over Shelbyville Tuesday.

Lady Bears almost upset Lady Tigers

The lady golden bears played thier best game of the season Tuesday Night at Triton Central. The bears were down after one 15-6, 30-23 at halftime, the bears outscored Triton Central 17-10 going to the final eight minutes tied at 40, the game was won at the free-throw stripe though 55-46. The Bears was led in scoring by Bailee Runnebohm, & Melanie Clark 10 apiece, Chelsea Weaver 9, Eryn Hopper 6, Caitlan Mills, & Lesley Sammons 4 apiece, & Kate Kolls 3. Triton Central was led in scoring by Casey Stow13. The Bears are back in action Saturday January 26th when they travel to Connersville. JV start is 11 AM. Varsity start is 12:30 PM.
Shelbyville played one of its best halves of the season but it wasn't enough to keep Delta from spoiling Senior Day at William L. Garrett Gymnasium Saturday, 50-39.
The Lady Golden Bears lost to Delta 50-39 on Senior Day The Jv also lost thier game. That moves The Lady Bears record to(3-13 overall & they finish 1-6 in the Hoosier Heritage Conference). The JV fall to 8-8. The bears was led in scoring by Chelsea Weaver 14, Kate Kolls 10, Kaitlan Hudson 5, Bailee Runnebohm 4, &Melanie Clark 2. Delta was led in scoring by Sarah Miller, & Demi Selvey 15 apiece. Melanie Clark, Sarah Carlson, Kate Kolls, & Brittney Gilsdorf were honored after the game. The Lady Bears will be back in action Tuesday January 22nd when they travel to county rival Triton Central JV start is 6 PM. & Varsity start is 7:30 PM.
