The Lay Bears Run Their Record To (7-14 Overall & 2-5 In HHC Play) After Being Defeated By Triton Central Tuesday Night 60-38. The Lady Bears Was Led in Scoring By: Madison Phares, Ava Wilson. & Kylee Edwards 8 Apiece, Madison Bassett, & Jaidyn Tackett 6 Apiece, & Abby Brenner2. Triton Central Was Led In Scoring By: Lizzie Graham 25, & Kenzie Ryle 10. The Lady Bears Finish The Regular Season Thursday When They Will Host Hauser JV Tip Is At 6 P.M. & Varsity Tip Is At 7:30 P.M.

The Girls Basketball Team welcomed Triton Central to town on Tuesday night for a county throw down. The Bears came up short on the varsity side and was led in scoring by Kylee Edwards, Madison Phares, and Ava Wilson with 8 points each. The varsity moved its record to 7-13 on the year. The JV team defeated Triton Central in a back and forth contest. The JV was led is scoring by Ella Johnson with 13 points. Lilly Marshall added 8 points and the JV is now 8-10 on the year. Both Teams will host Hauser on Thursday with basketball starting at 6 pm.

The IHSAA released the Girls Basketball Tournament Bracket this past Sunday at its annual pairing show. The Shelbyville Golden Bears will participate in Sectional 13 hosted by Franklin Community High School. The Golden Bears will face Franklin Community on 2/2/21 starting at 7:30 pm.

The Girls Basketball Team traveled to Delta on Saturday for an HHC contest. The Girls were victorious 51-43. The Bears were led in scoring by Kylee Edwards with 21 points. Jaidyn Tackett had 13 points and Ava Wilson added 7 points. This is the second time this year the girls have won back to back games. The Girls move to 7-12 on the year and will host Triton Central on Tuesday with basketball starting at 6 pm.
