Shelbyville's 8 Game winning streak was stopped Saturday Night At Bloomington South After They Lost To Bloomington North 51-42 The Bears Had Only 12 Points At Halftime and found themselves down 25-12 The Bears Cut The Lead To 6 With Two Minutes To go We Had To Foul Them To Get The Ball Back And They Hit 21-22 From The Line To Ice It. The Bears Was Led In Scoring By LeAnn Douglas 16, Julie Snuffer 11, Dana Gardner 6, Ashley Ayers 5, Sarah Wheeler and Krista Cole 2 Apiece. Bloomington North Was Led In Scoring By AlexGuyton 21, Dannielle Hobbs 12, Lori Whitaker 10, and Jenny Ross 8.
The Lady Bears Run Their Record To 16-7 After Defeating Columbus East 56-44 To Move Into The Championship Game Of The Bloomington South Sectional Saturday Night Tip Is 7:30 PM. The Bears Go Into Saturday's Game With An 8 Game Winning Streak. The Bears Was Led In Scoring By LeAnn Douglas 17, Dana Gardner 14, Jullie Snuffer 12, Ashley Ayers 7, Laura John 4, and Sarah Wheeler 2. BLOOMINGTON---- Shelbyville's patience is wearing thin on the competition....
The Lady Golden Bears Improve Their Record To 15-7 And Currently Have A 7 Game Winning Streak. The Bears Led From Start To Finish . They led 15-6 after one, 19-11 at halftime, 36-23 after three, the bears outscored East Central 15-9 In the Fourth Quarter To Win 51-32 Tuesday at Blomington South. The Bears Was Led In Scoring by LeAnn Douglas 17, Ashley Ayers 10, And Dana Gardner9. East Central Was led in scoring by Danielle Clark 7, Hilary Thomas, Kendra Darringer,Jessica Scholle 6 Apiece, Katie Pettit, Kristy Stuerenburg, and Kari Silvarti 2, Apiece and Holly Bill 1. The Lady Bears Next opponent is Columbus East in the first semi- final Friday.
FRANKLIN---- Every basket seemed to have twice the value at Vandivier Gym. Shelbyville stayed patient all four quarters Tuesday at Franklin and walked away with a 34-19 win.
