Shelbyville wins on Senior Day

The lady Golden Bears finished the regular season at 17-4 after they defeated Franklin 52-34 Tuesday Night. The bears led from start to finish. The bears was led in scoring by: Ashley Ayers 15, Dana Gardner 13, LeAnn Douglas 12, Julie Snuffer 5, Chelsea Parks 3, Melanie Clark and Kelli Haehl 2 apiece. Franklin was led in scoring by: Lindsey Vandivier 11,Carley Buchanan and Kristen Chaney 7 apiece. All five seniors LeAnn Douglas, Julie Snuffer, Chelsea Parks, Dana Gardner, and Ashley Ayers were named WKWH player of the game. The bears start there quest for a sectional title Friday Feb. 9th in 2nd game of the night at 7:30 When they play East Central.
Shortly after the Shelbyville girls' basketball team defeated Connersville Saturday' Golden Bears head coach Harry Larrabee spotted a familier face in the stands.

Lady Bears down Lady Spartans

The Lady Golden Bears Improved their record to 16-4 with a convincing 59-42 win over the Connersville Lady Spartans Saturday afternoon at Garrett Gymnausium. The Lady Bears were led in scoring by: Ashley Ayers 13, Dana Gardner 12, Julie Snuffer and Kelli Haehl 11 apiece, LeAnn Douglas 10, and Chelsea Weaver 2. The Lady Spartans was led in scoring by: Brittany Miller 12. The JV won their game 31-24. The Lady Golden Bears will conclude their regular season Tuesday January 30th against Franklin It will be senior night. Julie Snuffer was named WKWH player of the game. The sectional draw is Monday night @ 7pm. The sectional starts the week Feb. 5th at Shelbyville Garrett Gymnausium. Be there to back the bears on senior night everyone who has on a golden bear shirt will be admitted for one dollar what a bargin.

Bears top tenacious TC Tigers

Triton Central has devolped a winning tradition in girls' basketball, largely on the strength of its aggressive man-to-man defense. The Tigers ditched the man-to-man Tuesday in favor of a zone defense and a slow pace- and nearlypulled off an upset against local rival Shelbyville.
