After early foul trouble, Will Bowers scored 10 of his game-high 16 points in the final period to pace the Cavaliers (7-1). Spalding was down by seven with seven minutes left, but the Maryland-bound Bowers went 7-for-7 from the line down the stretch to rally his team. Spalding advanced to an 8:30 semifinal tomorrow against the winner of Cardinal Dougherty (Pa.) and Our Savior New American (N.Y.).
