PETROWSKY AND WATKINS EARN TOP HONORS
The Johnstown AAABA League announced the award winners for the 2007 Season on Thursday night. Matt Petrowsky became only the fourth player in league history to win multiple Most Valuable Player awards. Ben Watkins won the Pete Vuckovich Award that goes to the most outstanding pitcher. Watkins older brother, Kip, won the award as a member of the Grays in 2002.

Former Johnstown Grays pitcher Dave Wagner was signed to a free agent contract by the Texas Rangers on Tuesday.
Wagner helped lead the Grays to the 2005 AAABA League Championship. Wagner went 9-0 on the mound with a 2.64 ERA. He is a graduate of Bishop McCort High School and Old Dominion University.
