HOLY MCNICHOLAS, HAWKS SURVIVE
tHE HAWKS SEASON CAME DOWN TO LIAM MCNICHOLAS'S LAST AT BAT. A BASES LOADED DOUBLE INTO DEEP LEFT FIELD THAT SCORED 3 RUNS AND LIFTED THE HAWKS FROM A 6-4 DEFICIT. THE FINAL SCORE HAWKS 7 FRANKLIN 6 AND A TRIP TO THE FINAL 4 WEDNESDAY NIGHT vs CONANT 7PM.
Jay White pitched 6 stong innings, Sam McManus came in to record the win but Franklin took the lead in the 7th on a HBP, walk, 2 hawk errors and a sac fly. In the bottom of the 7th, Mcmanus lead off with a ground out, Jake Nelson singled up the middle and Matt McCormack struck out on a high fastball. Sam Bonifant kept the Hawks alive with an infield single and Jay White walked to load the bases. This brought up Liam McNicholas who hit a 2-0 pitch into the leftcenter gap to score all three runs.

HAWKS COME FROM BEHIND TO BEAT PROSPECT MNT 7-5 IN 9 INNINGS
Alton, NH. The Prospect Mountain bats started the game on fire collecting 6 hits and 5 runs off of Jay White in the first 3 innings. White settled down and shut out Prospect over his last 3 and 2/3 innings on the mound. The Hawks trailed 5-1 going into the top of the 5th when Steve Auger got the Hawks going with a walk Nate Greabe reached on a error and after a McManus walk the Hawks scored runs on an RBI single from Jake Nelson and a RBI from Matt McCormack. In the 6th inning Liam McNicholas stroked a double down the line and scored on another Greabe rbi single. The 7th inning saw the Hawks tie the game when Colin O'Keefee executed a perfect safety squeeze plating Sam Bonifant. In the top of the 9th the Hawks pushed 2 runs across RBI singles by Steve Auger and Nate Greabe. Sam Bonifant came in to pitch in the bottom of the 7th and pitched 2 1/3 innings to pick up the win. The Hawks had 36 chances in the field and did not make an error. Nate Greabe went 3-6 with 2 rbi's, Steve Auger and Jake Nelson also had 2 hits each.

MCMANUS'S AND HAWKS' BATS COME ALIVE
Sam McManus collected 3 hits including a double and a rbi and Matt McCormack went 2-3 with a double and 3 rbi's. Steve Auger (2-3) double and an rbi and Sam Bonifant had a hit and 2 rbi's to help lead an 11 hit Hawk attack. Bonifant went the distance on the mound earning the win while giving up 7 hits and striking out 1 in 5 innings of work. He finished the outing throwing 52 pitches.

HAWKS WIN BATTLE AT SOMERSWORTH 6-4
The Hawks struck for 2 runs in the 1st inning but saw a Somersworth 3 run homer in the bottom of the 1st. Trailing 3-2, the Hawks scored the tieing run in the top of the 3rd when Jake Nelson collected his 2nd hit of the game with an rbi single plating Nate Greabe. The score stayed 3-3 until the Hawks scored 3 runs in the 6th with 2 outs. The rally started when Jay White struck out but reached 1st base when the ball got past the catcher. Frankie Beane had a basehit into centerfield and Steve Auger hit a double over the left fielders head to score both pinch runner Liam McNicholas and Frankie Beane. In the bottom of the 6th White allowed a Somersworth Homerun but completed the inning leaving the mound with a 6-4 lead. Sam Bonifant came in and struck out 3 hitters in the bottom of the 7th. Highlights on the day, Jake Nelson had 3 of the Hawks 6 hits and the team make 0 errors for the game. Hawks play Campbell Monday
