PLAYERS OF THE GAME vs NEWPORT: COLIN O'KEEFFE & MATT MCCORMACK
O'Keeffe went 2-3 with a walk and 3 RBI's non bigger than his two out two RBI single in the 5th to help break a 4-4 tie. McCormack was equaly as big going 3-3 with a walk, two doubles and two rbi's. The two knocked in 5 of the 9 runs in the 4th and 5th innings. O'Keeffe also had a big day in the field recording 9 put outs and assisting twice.
Honorable Mention:
Sam Bonifant-complete game win on the mound picking off 4 runners and collecting an RBI single.

Hawks lose pitchers dual 3-1
Bow beat the Hawks 3-1 despite the Hawks outhitting the Falcons 6-4. Bow took advantage of 2 unearned runs and road the strong pitching perforance of Jordan Shobash (8 k's 1 bb). For the Hawks Sam McManus pitched a great game giving up only 4 hits but walking 6 and hitting 1. At the plate McManus went 2-3 with an rbi and Frankie Beane also collected 2 hits. Other hits for the Hawks were Nate Greabe and Steve Auger. Colin O'Keeffe played well defensively for the Hawks.
Hawks Rally to Beat Farmington 7-6
Somersworth beats Hawks 8-2
The Hawk bats were silent for most of the game (only 3 hits) and the execution was also lacking at times (3 errors). Colin O'Keeffe was the only Hawk to get a hit off of the Somerworth starter while both Jimmy Angell and Joe MacDonald each had hits in the 7th inning off a Somersworth reliever. Somersworth took advantage of an error 2 walks and 3 well placed balls in the first inning to take a 5-0 lead off of starter Sam Bonifant (all 5 runs were unearned) Somersworth scored single runs in the 3rd, 4th and 5innings. Jay White came in to pitch the 6th and 7th innings striking out 3. Hawks look to get back on track next Monday at Prospect Mountain.
