LCC Deals Revenge to Westview
The boys from La Costa walked on to the Westview Freshman baseball diamond with feelings that they had some unfinished business from their last trip down to the windy field at Westview. Playing with intent to revenge an early season loss, the Mavericks walked away with a 9-2 win.
Kyle Sachrison pitched from start to finish throwing his first complete game of the season. In the first inning he gave up 3 hits and 2 runs, but after that he settled in and threw a tremendous game giving up no walks and just 2 hits in the last 6 innings of the game.
Westview threw their big and best lefty, but La Costa teed off on him in the first for three big runs. The offense had 12 hits on the day and was lead by Solomon with 4 hits. Other hitters included Casas, Casinelli, Curtis, Davern, Miller, and Winters.
The Mav's are now 4-0 in the Pacific Classic Tournament and are headed toward a crash course finish against Carlsbad in the Championship Game.
