Jared Stengel had a two run homer amongst his three hits and Curt Pryal and Matt Soderlund added three hits and two RBI respectively as the Nationals held off the Racine Kiwanis 5-2 Thursday night at Zirkel Field in West Allis.
Stengel's two run homer in the fourth broke open a 1-0 game and provided Nationals pitchers the space they needed to close the deal.
Jimmy Jungbauer earned the victory with six strong innings. Jungbauer allowed only one earned run and struck out 8. Dillion Engel earned the save, striking out 6 while throwing the 8th and 9th innings.
Next up is a non-league tournament on Sat and Sun in Green Bay. The Nats will face the Appleton Legends twice and the Green Bay Storm once.

Nats DH vs Northern Illinois Rained Out
Sam Hammer homered, doubled, and drove in two and Matt Soderlund and Mike Kenseth added two hits and two runs each as the Nationals cruised to a 15-2 victory in Racine Thursday night.
Curt Pryal earned the victory with six strong innings. Tyler Frohwirth and Bobby Herrick combined to strike out 5 in the final two innings to close out the victory.
Next up are the Northern Illinois Legends. The Nats travel to Lake County Community College travel to Grayslake, IL for a 1pm twinbill.
