Assessments and Residency/Age Verification-Saturday 1/12* and Saturday 1/26*
*Please watch your emails early Saturday morning for updates in regards to cancellation/postponement due to rain.
If you do not receive an email Assessments are still a go!

Assessments for MINOR B, MINOR A and MAJORS divisions start this weekend!
If you are registered in one of these divisions you do need to attend assessments.
Assessments for Intermediate and Juniors are TBD.

Please plan on attending ONE of the assessment dates (1/12 or 1/26).

Assessment times are as follows:
Minor B: 9:00AM-12:00PM
Minor A: 12:00PM-3:00PM
Majors: 9:00AM-12:00PM

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled assessment time
(bring a glove, helmet and USA stamped baseball bat if you have one).

Lines will be long to check in so please plan accordingly.

If you have NOT completed Residency/Age verification please do so prior to checking in for assessments.

All Divisions (except Challenger) must complete Residency and Age verification:
Tball, Single A, Minor B, Minor A, Majors, Intermediate and Juniors

Residency/School verification will occur during our assessment dates from 8:00AM-12:00PM.

All players must be verified to ensure they are within ELL boundary and meet Age requirements.

Note: Players will not be able to practice or be placed on a team until this is completed.

Documents Needed for Residency/Age Verification:

We will need ONE document from each of the following three categories to verify Residence (or school waiver if using for in boundary) as well as the player’s “ORIGINAL” birth certificate (we CAN’T accept a passport, Military ID or copy of the birth cert. in lieu of ORIGINAL birth cert.):

Category ONE (must show address used to register)
1. Driver’s License 2. School records 3. Vehicle records (i.e.,registration, lease, etc.) 4. Employment records 5. Insurance documents
Category TWO (must show address used to register)
1. Welfare/child care records 2. Federal records (i.e. Federal Tax, Social Security -not SSN Card), etc.) 3. State records 4. Local (municipal) records 5. Support payment records 6. Homeowner or tenant records 7. Military records
Category THREE (must show address used to register)
1. Voter’s Registration 2. Utility bills (i.e., gas, electric, water/ sewer, phone, mobile phone, heating, waste disposal) 3. Financial records (i.e. loan, credit, investments, etc.) 4. Medical records 5. Internet, cable, or satellite record

NOTE: Example – Three documents from the same Category (utility bill, cable bill, and bank statement) constitute only ONE document.

Lastly, please print and complete the Medical Release Form and bring it with you to Residency verification. Link is below:

Spring 2019 Registration Closes this Saturday 1/05/19

If you have not yet registered for our Spring 2019 season there is still time. All divisions are almost at capacity.
We will have a wait list but there is no guarantee you will be placed on a team if you are wait listed once registration closes.

Get professional tips and instruction from former MLB players Jose Silva (Cincinnati Reds), Tommy Hinzo (Cleveland Indians) and Alex Pelaez (San Diego Padres)

This Saturday, December 1st, we are proud to host a free coach/parent clinic open to all interested managers, assistant coaching staff, volunteers and parents of Eastlake Little League! This clinic will help to prepare you for a successful season and introduce you to what Eastlake Little League is all about!

Come and join us from 9am-11am and learn tips from experienced coaches and professionals to build confidence in your players and children! Building confidence is key to developing young baseball players! We hope to see you there!

REMINDER: If you are interested in managing a team for the Spring 2019 season, please submit your application no later than November 30, 2018 to be considered.

CALLING ALL MANAGERS!

The 2019 Spring season is just around the corner, and Eastlake Little League is looking for Managers to mentor our youth in respect, perseverance and baseball within a close knit team dynamic. * If you want to make a difference in the lives of our youth, take the leap and send in the required information on or before this Friday’s deadline NOVEMBER 30, 2018.* All information is located on our website www.eastlakell.com, you will need to submit a questionnaire, volunteer application and copy of your driver license.

Our Board is committed to working with Managers of every level to make sure you are prepared. There will be a clinic this coming weekend on December 1, 2018 at 9am for all Manager applicants. Little or no experience is not a problem, we will be there to help you help the kids!!! Let’s get your information in and we’ll see you on the field.
