Legends Ballpark and Legends Baseball are committed to volunteerism and giving back to the community. Every year, we host a community event at the Ballpark and ask local vendors and partners to attend. This year, we are hosting the Winter Festival on 12/7 from 11-3pm. Part of the Festival includes the WTPD K9s providing a demo of the training and importance of these dogs. This is an amazing demo if you have not experienced this in the past! Food, activities and craft vendors will be present so it’s a great time to bring your family to shop!

As part of our community efforts, we ask that you and your families participate in the following:

Kiki Gives Back Toy Drive
Kiki was a vibrant and outgoing 12 year old who loved life and everyone around her. She battled cancer for 4 years and tragically lost her fight on November 11, 2012. She enjoyed handing out toys to children being treated at CHOP before, during and after her treatments there. Her dying wish was for us to continue to collect toys to benefit other children who are also battling for their life at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and who otherwise may not have a Christmas because of financial inability. *This toy drive means a lot to us as Kiki was the child and sister of a Legends Baseball family. * Bins are located at the Ballpark.

Unforgotten Haven Collection
We are collecting non-perishable food and large size toiletries, such as shampoo, conditioner, deodorant and body wash for those less fortunate. We will have marked bins with signs at the Ballpark for this donation too.

Volunteerism Help
We will have craft and activity stations for kids attending the Winter Festival. If you or your child would like to volunteer one hour of your time, that would be greatly appreciated! We are also looking for craft items to be donated for child activity stations.
