Hello Legends Family!

We know everyone has been busy traveling and playing and enjoying these warm-sunny weekends, and what a great start to the season for all 11 Legends teams!

For those of you who are new to the Legends Family, the Booster Club tends to take a back seat during the busy spring season, but we wanted to extend a great fundraising opportunity for the organization.

We have partnered with Speed Raceway in Cinnaminson, NJ where we have pre-purchased Race Tickets to be resold as an organization wide fundraiser. The Building Legends Booster Club will be selling these tickets to Legends Families for $15 per ticket, which is a 50% savings and provides the Booster Club more opportunities to enrich the program. These could make perfect Easter Gifts for our young players and families. If you would like to purchase these race tickets, please respond to this email or find one of our Booster Club board members who will be able to get them to you. Perfect idea for a team bonding event too!

Speed Raceway is an indoor Family Entertainment facility in Cinnaminson, NJ & Horsham, Pa specializing in go-kart racing. Many families and teams have visited Speed Raceway in the past and all had an awesome time. More details can be found at www.SpeedRaceway.com

As we approach tournament season, many Legends teams will provide a small gift to each of the players when travelling to large tournaments such as Ripken MD, Sports at the Beach, Pigeon Forge or Baseball Heaven.

Some ideas that have been used in the past include a gift bag with sunflower seeds, Gatorade, door posters, cracker jacks, LB eye black, bracelets, etc. Some of these items are available at the Ballpark so please let us know if you need large quantities so that we can set these aside for your team. We have partnered once again with Flippin’ Fab to create new designs for Legends Baseball! Please see the attached order form with the new gear available for purchase. Forms are due back by March 8th. Any late orders will not be guaranteed for the start of our spring season. Checks and cash only.

Please print the form out and complete it in its entirety. Your completed form and money can be returned to the front desk at Legends Ballpark.

All items are fulfilled by Flippin’ Fab and will be delivered to the Ballpark prior to the start of our spring season. We will notify you when the orders are available for pick up. Stop in on Sunday at 10:30am to meet pitching instructor Chris Rollins. As you may now, Chris currently works with professional athletes and is the pitching coach at RCGC.

Chris is instructing Legends Baseball pitchers and will be conducting a Pitching and Arm Care clinic. You can still register for both of these clinics after meeting Chris. The Arm Care/Velocity Clinic starts this Sunday at 11am and the Pitching Clinic starts at 12pm.
