School’s out for teacher in-service and fall break!
Join us at Legends Ballpark for ALL SKILLS baseball camp.

This 3 day camp will help build your child’s skills, improve their game and prepare them for your upcoming season.
We cover hitting, fielding, catching, throwing and more.

Dates: 11/6, 11/7, and 11/8
Time: 9:00AM – 1:00PM
Ages: 6-13
Cost: $40 per day

Select one, two or three days at checkout.
Extended hours until 3pm is available at additional cost.
Players should bring gloves, bats helmets and proper foot wear for an indoor facility. And, lunch is always provided!!

This is a reminder that your $200 worth of tickets for the October 18th Chickie & Pete’s Fall Social are due next week on Tuesday October 1st. Please turn your money into your coach asap — Checks can be made out to Building Legends Booster Club. For those that have asked, we do have extra tickets and have been distributing them as quickly as possible, please see a Booster Rep if you need more — thank you for the extra effort and for going above your minimum requirement.

Little / Future Legends w/ Coach Beck
This 4 week program will focus on the basic fundamentals of baseball at a level that your child can understand. Skills of basic throwing, fielding and hitting will be covered. More advanced skills will be taught based on your child’s skill level.

Hitting Training w/ Coach Eric
This program is designed to help players develop the basic fundamentals of hitting that they can take with them into the spring seasons. A 4 week progression will be used to develop proper swing mechanics and approach. We will use state of the art technology to break down your players swings and analyze to get the best out them.

Hello All

I would like to thank those who joined us last night for the September Booster Club meeting. We were able to accomplish a lot and finalized some goals we have been working towards . Please see some important details from the meeting below:

First, we would like to introduce Stacia O’Donnell (10u) who was voted into the Building Legends Booster Club last night as the Player’s Advocate. Stacia brings fundraising experience to the Booster Club and plenty of fresh and new ideas on ways to continue to improve Legends Baseball. Please congratulate Stacia when you see her next.

News on the mandatory fall fundraiser event may have leaked early to some of you, but we have now confirmed the details and signed the contract with Chickie & Pete’s of South Philly.

This is the only MANDATORY Fall fundraiser that is required per the LB Player’s Contract. This year the event will be at Chickie & Pete’s in South Philly on Friday October 18th @ 8-11pm. Each PLAYER is required to sell four $50 tickets ($200 total). Each ticket admits one person to the event which includes a raffle sheet of tickets for auction items, all you can eat & drink at the buffet & bar, private space, gratuity, and the Play2 lounge which is like a hybrid of Dave & Buster’s meets Top Golf. There will also be 50/50s running. The sale of the ticket also benefits the program and each team, so it’s more than a night out with friends, it’s a fundraiser too!
*_Families with more than one player in the program are only required to sell 4 total tickets_.

Tickets have already been assigned to each team & player by number. These tickets will be given to YOU this week by your coach. You must turn in $200 to your coach or your Booster Club team rep by Tuesday October 1st._ (3+ weeks from today)._ Cash or checks can be made payable to: Building Legends Booster Club.

Each TEAM is required to provide at least 2 gift baskets valued at a minimum $100 to be auctioned off at the event. So, we aren’t all producing the same gift baskets we are requiring each team to select or choose themes for their two baskets. The coaches who attended last night’s meeting have already picked their themes. Coaches who did not attend last night were sent a list of options to choose from earlier today. If you have a theme idea or access to something fun & unique to auction off, please discuss it with your coach or message the Building Legends Booster Club on Facebook or email: LB1BoosterClub@gmail.com

The Fall event has been a great time each of the last two years, and we are looking forwarded to an even more enjoyable evening with the new venue, food, and entertainment Chickie & Pete’s provides.
