Reminder that we are at Lockwood tomorrow and a change of venue for Friday, we will also be at Lockwood.
Welcome to the 2017-2018 season! We are looking forward to a fun season. Please keep an eye on Team Pages and our website http://carroll13.wixsite.com/ogdensburgfsc . We will post any changes, cancellations, or important information on here. As a reminder, whenever Ogdensburg City Schools are closed for holidays or snow days, we can not have skating. Also, on our website right now are forms for Club jackets and garment bags that you may wish to purchase for your skaters.
This year’s show theme will be Broadway. Lauren has been busy looking for music and we will use the same format as last year. Each level will have their own music/routine and parents will be responsible for coming up with the costumes. We will get those lists to you in January when we know final groups.
Basic Skills Coordinators this year are: Marilyn Beldock, Crystal Brown, and Scott Wilson.
Prejunior/Junior Coordinators: Megan Sovie and Melissa Fennessy
Senior Coordinators: Jessica Montroy and Linda Wright
If you have questions for a specific group, please contact the appropriate coordinators. All financial questions please direct to Megan Sovie.
If you are interested in individual lessons for your skater you will need to contact the coach individually.
Pro coaches this year are Lauren Morley, Mel Maggio, Lisa Cardinal, and Hillary Skelly.
Junior Coaches: Liberty Montroy and Bre Cardinal.
OFSC will be hosting a Rock n Skate at Lockwood Arena on Saturday, 11/04/17.
6:00-7:15- Ages 3-12 (prek-Grade6)- encouraged to be accompanied by an adult
7:15-7:30- Ice Clean
7:30-9:00 – Ages 12-Adult (Grade 7 and up)
$4 Entry Fee – Skate Rental FREE
Pizza Slices and Drinks- $1-$2
We are looking for volunteers and donations. If anyone would like to donate bottled water, canned soda, individual bagged chips, individual wrapped snacks, please bring them with you to the Rock-n-Skate or contact a board member to make arrangements. We will also be purchasing Pizza, in the past parents have opted to buy pizza and donate or donate money toward that purchase. We just ask that you speak to a board member first so that we don’t have an over abundance of pizza and waste your money.
It is not too late if you still want to sign your skater up for the season. Megan will be at Lockwood from 5:30-6:30 each night this week!
Registration will be held at the Dobisky center on September 28th 6-8pm and October 14th 9-11 am. All forms, prices, and schedules are listed on the web page.
